Tan Son Nhat International Airport (SGN) is Vietnam’s busiest airport, located 6-8 km from Ho Chi Minh City’s CBD. It has two terminals: T2 for international flights and T1 for domestic flights.
Immigration queues can take 30 minutes to over an hour, so be prepared. After clearing immigration, proceed to baggage claim and customs, where random checks may occur.
To reach your hotel, Grab and Be ride-hailing apps are the best budget options, however you may need a Vietnamese SIM card to register. Mai Linh and Vinasun green and white coloured taxis are reliable, but avoid unmarked taxis.
Public buses are the cheapest option, but they are small, do not have baggage racks, run slower, and the services stop in the late evening. Rush hour traffic can double travel time, so plan accordingly. If arriving late, airport pickup services are the safest choice.

This service is not to be confused with an airport pickup service, where a car is waiting for you outside the airport. Please contact your dental practice or us a few days before your arrival, to arrange an airport pickup service by a car and a driver.
